The Mule

From 60,00

The Mule (Kenjac) by Mostar-based artist Boris Pehar is a bold visual commentary on the darker realities of today’s Mediterranean. Set against a striking turquoise and dusty brown backdrop, the illustration features a mule marked with a copyright symbol—surrounded by hidden signs and symbols that reference illegal construction, unchecked development, corruption, and the commodification of land. This layered and provocative artwork invites viewers to reflect on the consequences of mass tourism and urban speculation—issues that affect nearly every Mediterranean city today.

This limited edition illustration is part of the first edition of Mediterranean 2035– Through the Eyes of Creatives / The Next Chapter.
