The Big Lebowski

Pula based graphic designer Vjeran Juhas Piro interprets The Big Lebowski (1998), the cult Coen Brothers classic through a bold, tongue-in-cheek visual language. Anchored by two iconic symbols — the bowling ball and the rug — the artwork captures the film’s offbeat energy and surreal humor. The rug, intentionally skewed, reflects the film’s twisted sense of order and its unapologetic refusal to play by the rules — much like The Dude himself.

This limited edition art print is part of the second edition of NoMAD MOVIE ART 2023 – Film Classics through the Eyes of Croatian Authors, a collaboration between NOMAD.ART (formerly Split Nomad Gallery) and the Mediterranean Film Festival Split (FMFS).

Whether you’re a devoted Coen Brothers fan, a collector of cult movie posters, or simply appreciate standout graphic design, this original piece is as memorable and unconventional as the film itself.
